The new school year is about to begin, and we want to make sure you know that TWJ is here to partner with you if you need any assistance with teaching the very important skill of writing to your students. Even though many students would disagree, this is not a skill we want to delegate to AI. Students learn many important skills as they practice and perfect their writing skills.
While you always have the option to hire an experienced instructor through tutoring, you also have the option to train yourself to become an excellent writing instructor for your students. Using the methods we have been teaching students for 25 years, you too can find success and joy in coming alongside your students, encouraging them to think independently and express their thoughts and ideas in writing.
The first step in the Adult Training Program is to attend the Writing Foundations Seminar, where you will learn the foundational building blocks of all great writing. In addition, you will learn specific steps and strategies to help students of all ages learn to write. After completing the Writing Foundations Seminar, you will be able to receive additional instruction to help equip you to teach to the varying ages and abilities of your students.
A Writing Foundations Seminar will be held in September & November 2025, January, March, and July 2026. Exact days and times will vary from group to group, depending upon schedules and availability. Contact the home office to receive a phone call and learn more about this opportunity.
